Paracord items that see regular use can become dingy over time. They pick up sweat, oil, and dirt from normal wear and tear. It's recommended that you clean these objects at least once a month if you wear/use them regularly.
For small wearable items like bracelets, you can clip them to your pants with a small carabiner clip and put them in your regular wash, cold water only. Be sure to remove them before putting them in the dryer. Air dry only.
For dense objects like our flogger handles or impact bars, do not submerge them in water. Use a toothbrush or nail brush to lightly scrub with warm water and baking soda or a little bit of detergent. Air dry only.
If a dense object like our flogger handles or impact bars does become soaked, swing out as much of the water as possible and pack in a desiccant such as rice to help pull water out. Any residual water can potentially mildew and create mold.
Paracord is a mix of synthetic fibers, so things to avoid:
- Bleach and harsh chemical cleaners
- Clothes dryers, boiling water, and high temperatures.
- Leaving items in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
